The weekend is finally here! After a week of torment at work it is time for us to wine down and relax. For car enthusiasts alike, the weekends are the time for TT sessions and drives.
This weekend, the boys from myvimovement held a “Park and Ride” meet at the newly paved Glenmarie LRT station car park. This is their ninth meetup since they began slightly over two years ago and their numbers have quadrupled since.
About 300++ Perodua Myvi’s were there ranging from the older generations up to the latest models, together with various cars from other makes and models. Although the event was slated to start at 10pm, there were a handful of cars already in attendance as early as 9.30pm.
Malaysians are really a creative bunch of people. Judging by the modifications that they have done to their rides. There is truly no limits to what we Malaysians can come out with. Pushing the modification scene to the next level. The passion of each owner is reflected deeply in their rides. The utmost dedication these enthusiasts show is really something admirable.
The Perodua Myvi is an icon here in Malaysia. It usually is a first car to many especially those who is just starting out learning to drive. This is also the time when many just started to step foot into the modification scene. The Myvi is really a good canvas to start out with. Congratulations to the boys at myvimovement for pulling off such an epic meet. Can’t wait for the next myvimovement Meet Up 10.0!
