The weekend is here and it's a Sunday morning! A perfect time to for petrolheads to takeover the roads and conquer the mountains, and to escape the city! Sunday Escape began at 7:00am with people piling into the BHP Petrol Station along Karak Highway. The usual suspects were already assembled; Honda Civics, Proton Satrias, Volkswagen Golfs and Sciroccos.
'Drag nights' is something that is very underground in Malaysia due to its very high risk of trouble, especially when it is carried out on public roads, near residential areas. Despite being an underground arena, there have been numerous drag and race events being held in and around the Klang Valley.
Kenji and his bunch of friends were all into oldschool Toyota Corolla KE70s. And when word got out that this bunch of guys were making a trip up from down south, the news travelled far up until the Northern region as a few guys drove down all the way from Kulim as well. There were even some who flew down from Kuching just to attend the drive! Talk about hardcore!
Few weeks back we were invited by Fiesta OCM to join their Annual Grand Meeting held in Tropicana Golf and Country Resort. To date, they have had three previous AGM's dating back to 2013 in Cherating, 2014 in Bukit Jalil Golf Resort and 2015 in Malacca.
It could not be any more literal, as the title goes, today is the day where thousands of Honda enthusiasts gathered at Maeps Serdang. Today was a day where owners and car enthusiasts alike gather in celebration of one of the most iconic automotive JDM brands in the world.
Rain was still drooling down my front screen as I made my way down to Maeps Serdang for Car enthusiast night x Hondaday Malaysia. It was about 10pm when I reached carpark 2 and although the grounds were damp and wet, the spirit of all the car enthusiasts who was in attendance was not.
