Mark Darwin and Fitra Eri both managed an astonishing lap time of 2:43:486 and 2:43:189 respectively for qualifying and were at Pole Position for the race. Darwin mentioned that they were still trying a few setup changes to gain a better pace during the race, which was evident during the qualifying race. Fitra also pointed out that despite their success in Qualifying, anything could happen during the 1000km race.
